C927-C940 HSCo-XP Unequal Helix End Mills for Stainless Steel


The features of the tool have been developed and refined for machining Stainless Steel in all semi-finishing and high metal removal applications.



MATERIAL
HSCo-XP high alloyed steel with homogeneous structure, manufactured using powder metallurgy technology to give superior toughness and heat resistance.


COATING:
The new X-CEED coating is a mono-layer coating, exhibiting high hardness properties and resistance to abrasion, even at extremely high cutting speeds. This results in longer tool life and high productivity.


SHANK:
The unequal helix angle and the high cutting rake angle combine to optimise the performance of the end mills.
Unequal Helix
- The unequal design of the helix results in a decrease in tool vibration, to give the best surface finish and superior edge quality.
- Tool rigidity assists the dimensional control of the workpiece.
- Greater axial and radial depths can be achieved at high cutting parameters.


LENGHT:
Medium (DIN 844K) and long (DIN 844L) length to cover a wide range of applications. Shank to DIN 1835B.


CHAMFER:
Robust chamfer design to avoid chipping problems on the end teeth.
